Featuring 83 eco-tents, Discovery - Rottnest Island appeals to guests who appreciate being close to nature, but with a few special creature comforts. Sleep (almost) under the stars in a comfortable canvas eco-tent complete with ensuite bathroom and pillow topped bed. The perfect place to soak up the pristine sanctuary of the Rottnest Island.

Getting to the Property

Discovery – Rottnest Island is an easy and scenic 1km walk from the ferry pier through the main Rottnest Island township.

As the island is predominantly free of cars, there are no transfers provided and most guests enjoy exploring the island as they make their way to their accommodation on foot.

However, if you have mobility constraints and require a transfer from the ferry to your accommodation, please let the resort know so that arrangements can be put place.

If you have luggage you can check it in with your ferry provider and it will be sent to Discovery by the Island’s delivery service. This can take up to 2 hours once you’ve arrived so it is recommended to pack a day bag with bathers and anything else you might want to use straight away.
